More about Coach Klimchock
Chris Klimchock just completed his fourth season as head coach of the Bobcat men's basketball team in 2024-25 season. Klimchock has led the Bobcats to the AMCC Tournament in his first four seasons as the leader of the Bobcats, including a semi-finals appearance in the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

Before Pitt-Greensburg, Klimchock worked as an assistant coach at Penn State Behrend. While there, he helped the team win 84 games over a four-year span and develop multiple all-conference selections. He also helped lead the Penn State Behrend Basketball Summer camps from 2016-2020. Prior to Behrend, Klimchock worked two seasons as an assistant coach at Regis College in Weston, MA, and also a student assistant at his alma mater, St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. During the summers, he worked various basketball camps including Pitt main campus and served on the Hoop Group Elite staff at Albright College. A native of Greensburg, PA, Klimchock played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Edinboro University where he played in 51 career games and was named 3-time PSAC Freshman of the Week. He transferred to St. Vincent for his final two seasons and was a two-year starter, captain, and First Team All-PAC selection during his senior season. He helped guide the Bearcats to the 2013 PAC Tournament Title and a berth into the NCAA Division III Tournament. Klimchock graduated from St. Vincent with his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and went on to earn a Master's degree in Organizational and Professional Communication from Regis College in 2016 as well as a Master's degree in Business Administration from Penn State Behrend in 2018.
